Our First Walls! 5/21

This view is from the inside of our house. Actually I am in the kitchen looking at Mike's office, the foyer and my dining room.

The top photo is of mike in the girls' playroom.

I was actually surprised by what is in this photo! Mike had led me to believe we would install a standard front door. When I looked for the first time it was obvious to me that the whole was definitely larger than your average door frame. He lovingly ordered me the door of my dreams. Side windows with enough room for any door I found. This is still up for debate. He wants a 12-light. I want an opaque black door. (12-light is a completely see through front door). If you know me at all, you have already figured out which door we have purchased.

These next to photos are the front view of our home. One has the garage and side entrance. Yes, I have 7 exterior doors. In between the garage and house is a stoop where I imagine guests entering. A more relaxed entrance with hanging lantern. There is a small window you can not see which is in our guest bathroom.
The other photo is the left angle of house.

YEAH! Mike is standing in his office. His cave away from all of the estrogen in the house. I think I am as excited for this room as he is. Seriously.
The girls and I tend to gather as a group somewhere in our home doing.... girl things:)
Our talking alone wears him out. Yes every last one of us likes to talk. ESPECIALLY to Mike. Every night at the dinner table each daughter gets special time to talk w/daddy. Then they leave to play and I get my talk time in. Over dessert and COFFEE of course. This has been our routine since we were first married. Only now, he has to sit and listen a lot longer. But I know he really enjoys it. He often tells me so.

The photo with 3 windows was our very first wall. It is our living room. And you can see the hole from the previous post. The downstairs are just passed the living room.

Wow looks great. The all see-through front door would scare the crap out of me! :) Things are progressing SO fast that's awesome. I can't wait to come and see it!
