My camera is in the camera grave. Yeah, Yeah. So Karen should be blogging my house photos tonight.
So without pictures, I may as well do what I do best in the mean time. Talk.
I often want to post about my girls and the things they say that are so cute or funny. But I haven't because my girls are old enough to understand my blogging. They get embarrassed. Emme in a good way and Abbey in a humiliated way. Since I can most readily agree with and understand Abbey I have refrained from sharing the good humor.
But a few weeks back they made me laugh so hard I asked permission to blog the stories and they kindly indulged me and obliged.
I'll start w/Emme.
We had just moved into our house and I was unpacking the dishes.
Emme said, "Mom, if I were my friend, I would want to be my friend".
Me, ?, "Oh, yeah"
Emme, "Yeah, because I would love this house and want to come over and play in it".
Then today this conversation, which is what made me think to post.
We are driving along when out of nowhere we hear:
Emme, "Aunt Karen, I hope your plane smashes"
Us, "huuugh" (gasp)
Me, "Emme, because your mad?"
Emme, "No because I am sad and don't want her to go home".
I'm thinking, "yeah, that's one way to keep her from getting home."
Aunt Karen,
We are all sad you had to go home. Thank you for coming. We appreciated ALL your help. From taking care of us while puking, doing the laundry, fixing us dinners, helping us to get organized to babysitting while we went on dates. 2 to be exact.
We love you and miss you already. Tell uncle Art thanks,
Love,
The girls and Mike
