Lost Photos!

If you may recall my camera breaking in the fall you may seem to remember I skipped a whole 2-1/2 months worth of events on my blog. I was able to upload the photos recently and plan on sharing them just for fun. This was in October, I think. Our College & Career group at church, which we happen to be leaders for, hosted a rare parents night out at our church. They had snacks, a huge movie screen playing movies and tons of kid games. It was right around when we signed on to help but we desperately wanted to have a free night. Especially since our house was almost finished and we were under the gun to find lights. So Mike and I ended up dropping our girls off. They loved it! We drove to Pennsylvania and scoured 2 of our favorite stores for lights. We also snuck in a dinner, although rather quickly. We realized we were not going to make it back for the 10pm pick-up so we phone some friends who happen to live across the street. They ended up retrieving our kids and watching them for another 3 hours till we arrived home. I felt horribly guilty as usual. But Ang didn't seem to mind. When we got to the Troyer's house all 7 kids were sleeping on the floor in the living room. I wish I had an after picture of how disheveled and sticky our kids looked. It was a once in a lifetime so I jumped in spontaneously and went w/the flow. I know, I know, we are such PARTY ANIMALS!
