Wow~ Time flies!

(I accidentally posted these pics backwards:)

I did not realize I haven't posted since March. I actually tried to blog a few times in May and lost my posts. I was to tired and time pressed for any redos.

I took a much needed blogging break. I was so sick of talking about my self I could puke. Then someone; remined me that was the whole point. To talk about myself and give updates on my family happenings. PLus some asked for house pics. I really am trying not to be prideful but more informative. I am unable to have you all over for coffee and a scone! I wish! Or to have sleepovers and babysit. So this is to show you, the ones I love a glimpse into my heart and home.

But I also just needed sometime for me. To rest and deal with important issues in my life (more on that later)

Here are a few pics to update you and some bullet points.
(wait, how do I post bullet points??)

March-Spoke at a Women's Tea and Luncheon, thus bringing on my need for rest.

April-Surviving!! Also my 10 year, yes, my TEN year anniversary. Mike surprised me w/a weekend away. I woke up and went downstairs to have my quiet time w/God and on my chair was an itineraty for the weekend. It said to pack my bags and listed what atire to bring. 1 hour later Mike came home, I thought he was at work but he was really getting groceries for the girls to last for the whole weekend:) The babysitter showed up a few hours later. I had a surprised scheduled massage and pedi when we checked in to our hotel.!!! Whoo-hoo- so fun. Guess what?? When I walked in to get my massage behind the locker area, which had food and wine, out walked Josh Gra*cin. Do you follow American I*dol?? SO cool.

Also, Abbey had spring break! Busy!!

May-Mikes aunt broke her back and I tried to visit her and bring meals as often as I could w/3 little girls around. (another post I lost:(

Took a last minute vacation for mothers day w/one of my best girlfriends! Thanks Mike and girls. Went to Texas for 4 days and had truly one of the best vacations of my life. No kids to tend, no pressing engagements, just rest and relaxation. We went for facials, we went shopping, we ate at a real french retaurant (i wanted to do a seperate post on that), we were even treated to a Mothers day brunch by my parents. We watched movies and stayed up late everynight, one night in particular my mom and I laughed for about 2 hours all while rehashing stories for my friend. All 4 of us needed that weekend. My mom showed us her gift shop which is Awesome. It was a Crazy trip. My friend (whom I had done a post on and lost :( ended up in the hospital that week and made it to the airport in the nick of time. Seriously she ripped out her own i.v.'s and had her man rush her to the airport to meet me. Like I said a much needed trip:)

I truly was excited to share pics but guess what I did??? LEFT MY CAMERA ON THE AIRPLINE! As I exited the plane I made the comment to my friend, "So glad we don't have to check all around for left behind items, because we don't have our kids": we were literally running to the next plane and I couldn't be bothered by checking, she was dying to get back to her 4 kids, are you laughing now?? Yep, learned that lesson the hard way. And yes you remember correctly I only recieved my camera in December as a gift from Mike. I may not have pics for a while!!

Then 1 week later I flew w/3 girls by myself. Lovely.... to Minnesota. No. They really did a good job of behaving. I have learned a trick or two since having my 3rd child. I drug her carseat threw the airport and she stayed in her seat the whole time!! Unlike how I traveled w/Emme. Which always ended in a disaster.

I was blessed and honored due to the fact I was asked to be Addison's God-mother. (tear). So not only was I able to attend Ryan's much deserved graduation ceremony and parties I also got to participate in Addison Jayne's baby dedication. Hopefully pics to follow. I Loved making her gifts. SO FUN. I wish I knew w/ Abbey my first baby all that I know now w/my third. Like how to make home-made hairbows and jewelry. SO FUN. but then again I have had practice since I did end up w/three daughters. And at 12 bucks sometimes for a bow I had to learn:)

Loved getting to see TOm and the kids. Missed Kristi but Tom and I had a blast. On the way home we flew out 1 gate over from each other 5 min. apart. We checked in together and everyone asked how we can travel w/6 kids. Neither of our spouces were along and they all thought we were married. We did have fun though?! Eh?

I HAD A BLAST. WHAT ANOTHER FUN TRIP. Seriously, God blessed me this month, he knew I needed a few mini-breaks.

June-SO busy, is it already over???

Broke in our allotment pool!!! yeah for me this summer. A back-up plan for everyday!!

Put grass in finally, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb w/ an acre of dirt and it's about time the girls don't even remember having a swing set at our last house. We lived in our apartement for 2 years and had sold it when we moved in.

My parents came for a week. Did I mention so fun??? Shopping sprees. My mom and I have been wantint to flea market shop for a while now, together. I am fortunate enough to live down the street from a huge venue. SO FUN. We act crazy when we get together. We always try to cram in to much though. We got to the Market Pl*ace and immediatly I bought a jewelry armoire. We were laughing so hard, we were yelling "sold" ever time we walked by and saw a prized treasure that had to be ours. Ok but the best part was, my mom only brought the rental car. So we had "treasures" sticking out all the windows and accross the 3 carseats. Hilarious. Again no pics, just image.
We also did some back to school shopping together. You know what that means?? Yes, 2 now:( Sniff...sigh....hallelujah). j/k.
Anyhow, the girls spent the nights at the hotel with grama and pa-pa which never gets to happen.
And we had the 5th annual ballet recital for the S. family. Actually Abbey did hip-hop this year. Pics to follow.

And not to mention all the home decorating I have been up to, sewing projects, playdates and slumber parties (since it is summer break) and leading college and careers. I do have pics of some of those though. I borrowed a few cameras. We also had 2 weddings to attend in there:)

Plus I was honored to be asked to intern this summer at my church as a junior pastor? Who me?? And am spending all of my spare time heading up and pioneering a Women's Ministry for our church. I AM LOVING THIS PART.

And LASTLY, I had to post, pics of EMME'S kidergarten screening. I have had to process all these emotions early so that on her first day I do not have a break down. Sad yet extremely happy. Especially for her, she needs this. She has never been to pre-school yet she is more socially aware then Ab was at this age, because she has an older sister! I am so excited. Not to mention the fact that I can dress her how I want and experiment w/ hairdo's. I feel like she is my first girl. Ab would never let me do these things. She does her own hair everymoring. Ahem!

P.s. we are potty-training also and that in and of itself is a blog post:)
Busy but exactly what my dreams were make of when I was a little girl. I tell my girls' that all the time. Only minus the fact that I don't live by family. So I try to enjoy each day knowing this is what I really want to be doing!
A head band I made:) DId I mention I love having girls??

FInally a house w/some space to ride:)!!

Abbey's hip-hop teacher Miss Kayla. We quickly became friends. Which Ab finds so strange. K. babysits for me sometimes, the girls just love her. SO do I. Us at the pool.

Look closely. See how dirty we get w/no grass in. Love that face!

Look at AB's hair. Kayla did it. Cam is crazy on her 4-wheeler:)

Em's kindergaren screening w/the other kindergarten teacher in white. Mrs. S. and on the right is Ab's first grade teacher. Mrs. H. Mike had her also. And she retired this year so it was a big deal that Ab was in her last class ever. We love her! and will miss her.

Best I could do by myself. First day at our pool. THe public school hadn't let out yet so we had no competition for space.

It's weird now to refer to Lccs as Em's school. She's in!:) Passed the screeening.

We drug Mike to the flea market on a Saturday morning. His first time since he was a little boy. What?!? He used to ride his bike up town to buy baseball cards. We always get the lemonade and sugared pecans:)

So weird this is Ab's second teacher Mrs. D. but w/Mrs. H retiring the Kindergarten teacher, whom I was so excited Em would have, is moving up w/her assistant to the first grade. SO Mrs. D is going to Kindrgarten to ass. And Em will have her. Crazy huh?? Em will have Abs teacher so soon. Though I was sad at first I heard Em's new teacher is out-of-controly coveted. She taugh fifth grade before and the kids who were anticipating her are now so upset. I love our school.

Just love the color of my bags together:) I have had fun decorating more too.!

My playground monkey. On her last day. I went to graduation w/her and then helped w/her classroom party:) I love being a stay-at-home mom!! I am blessed to be able to do all of this w/my girls.

Last day of school. Whoo-hoo for me. A break from early morning rushes and carpools.

A self-proclaimed tomboy.

Her proof:)

Actually she received many awards this school year. But the one she got recognized for at her ceremony was P.E. honors. WHAT?!? My girl. Everyone looked at me. She does not get that from me. I mean she was honored w/studedent of the month nominee out of the whole elementary and she wins physical eduacation awared. O. K. but she always told me afterschool how in gym class she was working up her speed to beat the boys. Her 2 areas of competition. Gym and Math flashcard games. Against whom? the boys. They are the best right now at math. the fastest. Smart and Athletic. I like.

My fashionista.

I NEED TO MENTION 2 OTHER BIG THINGS!!! EM"S NEW HAIRCUT AND HER FIRST EVER LOST TOOTH!!! SHE HAD A BIG MONTH. PLUS WE WENT AND HAD PICTURES TAKEN to remember all of this and her screening.

Cam's latest obsession besides her friends. Pictured here is Zack. DORA!!! Em skipped this stage because she was too cool. She wanted to be just like AB and Ab was so over dora and the wiggl*es.:) (Remember that phase guys??)
But Cam is too young yet. ALthough she looks up to and copies Em. She is 3 years different and that makes a difference. Rather than 2 years.

Good-Bye Mrs. H. We miss you!

She loves to pose. I need to find and unpack my scanner to scan in her other poses! She thought she was on a mag. photo schoot. She even told the photographer how she wanted to post at the end. She had a dress on and kicked of her shoes for the look she wanted to achieve. SO spunky. Love her!

I have so many more updates but these were the biggies. Glad to be back blogging. Even if know one reads i love having the documentation.
The only person I have left to visit is Karen? Hmmmm. ?
Did I mention 4 of these weeks she was gone and it was sheer torture??
Hope you enjoyed.
ANd if you managed to read this far I must mention, YES, I am most likely last on my book reading challenge. I was simply busier than I expected to be this spring/summer. I have read a few though and hopefully will post soon. We need someone to give a book report though to keep us motivated.:) love you guys!
