My Need for HOT things:) ~April 09~

The girls were helping publish this post and they couldn't agree on which pic to use. Wa-la.

In April I had a scare that I might be pregnant. yes I said pregnant, and YES I said, "Scare". (A whole separate post for another time). Anyhoo, part of my reasoning was due to the fact that I was craving me some Wasabi sauce in unbelievable portions. One night I even made Mike drive all the way to our Gourmet food store, right before closing, just to buy a package of Wasabi peas. Have you ever tried Wasabi paste? So hot, it's guaranteed to make your nose run and your eyes tear up. Surely not for wimps. Are you craving anything Hot yet??

So when our 10year Anniversary rolled around I goo*gled to my hearts content until I ultimately found the perfect restaurant. W*ASABIs. Um-um good!!!

We went H*ibachi style. Cause that's how we roll. The couple seated next to us was from South A*merica and his job transferred him to Ohio. Talk about culture shock. Worse than mine 9 years ago. The wife and I laughed hysterically about so many things we learned after living her for 1 winter w/small babies. Like where the nearest drive through grocery store is located:) (Seriously they bring your groceries out like a S*onics* and a drive-through chain combined. So cool). While our night wore on their stories got less funny while their p.d.a got more public, as she got wasted on Saki.

Undeterred I was on a mission. I ordered Sushi and was in Heaven, Mike was. . . um. . not in Heaven. But he did his best and tried everything. You should try one night cooking in my shoes w/a husband who is just as well comfortable eating kid foods as my kids:) Whenever he goes out of town I bake and cook every chick meal I can muster the strength to complete/force my kids to choke down. Em's coming along though.

I'll show you what I mean in a near future post, because a few weeks ago when my parents came to town guess where I had made reservations?!? Yeah, my dad had a few of his own. . .:) WA*SA*B*I's.

And the best part is. 2 short
weeks after our Anniversary escapade, our "Strips" old Joes C*rab Sh*ack was turned in to a

W*AS*ABIs and OPENED FOR BUSINESS.
Well, at least mine:)
