o finish my own projects, much to Mikes frustration, only because I move mentally onto another "creation". I finally realized my home may never be able to catch up to my design add behavior. Then a light bulb went on. If I decorate other peoples spaces maybe I could finally get color palettes and/or fabric obsessions off my mind once and for all. In the midst of redoing a colors for Katie's bedroom I kept coming back to 3 main colors. Already knowing her walls are gold and her bed is grayish/white and keeping in my mind Katie is a Jewel tone kind 'a gal my thoughts kept circling back to 1)Royal blue, 2)Emerald green and 3)Tangerine.
Even though Katie isn't quite ready to switch her bedroom yet, I'll be ready when she does. (If she'll have me. She has a really good artistic eye on her own. Not the kind of person who usually needs nor wants help just because she enjoys styling so much).
I almost fell off my bed when I saw these images the very next morning.

And I am in love right now w/this shade of green. Imagine it w/gloss. Yes?
I love how, if a person can't visualize a room and you show them an outfit they agree to the colors. It makes sense for women to be more comfortable w clothes and jewelry because they have been getting dressed every single day of their lives.
