Building my shelves!

Cam's room.

Another view of Cam's room.

Upstairs hallway/space. Looking at my closets, Abbey's room, girls bathroom, ironing board space, & Em's room. L-R.

The other's side of the upstairs hallway. Stairwell, Cam's room, Our bedroom and my Scrapbook closet! L-R.

Back view of upstairs hallway. Where off-white meets gray.

Can't wait for these stairs on Christmas morning!

View from the top of the stairs. My kitchen!!! SO excited. That small block in the center is covering the rough plumbing hole/line.

From the stairs looking up. You can see my room, 2 linen closets. 1 of my favorite ideas on the original plans.

Better kitchen view.

View of the state of my foyer currently! Loving this space now. Others have commented how they love the fact that even though we don't have a high vaulted ceiling in the foyer it still evokes an elegant feel. A large open space that welcomes visitors and piques their interest for the rest of the house. I felt the vaulted ceiling here would have been wasted space and I know I would come to resent cleaning a chandelier!!!! Instead we have made this space feel luxurious w/tile, headers and mirrors! Actually our biggest fan was a man!

View from kitchen down the hallway. Cam sitting on the stoop. I think she likes this hide-a-way nook.

Right outside the nook. Cement but no stairs yet. That is Mike's office window. And our hiding space for the key. Yes so typical!!!. The only problem w/ this besides the fact that it's so cliche and obvious is that the girls tell everyone when they come over about it. And then follow up w/ but don't tell anyone it's a secret!:)

I am thinking to put this at the end of the bar now instead of the island and round the counter top. Since my 2 island idea didn't pan out the walkway is larger in the kitchen on one of the island sides. So I was wondering a rounded bar top??

Laundry cabinets. Don't let the square fool you. I didn't notice this till Mike pointed it out to me. The inside of the square is filled in and painted. So it's not the harsh craftsman style.

AT first I resented all the different cabinets. But now I enjoy the diversity because it has become a "custom home".

My bathroom vanity. With feet:) (squeel!)

The harsher square pattern. Which I love!

My new cabinets. First round of the day.

Mike dropping off the girls after second round. Cam is burned out.
