Cabinets-Part C-8/16

Mike's Dad, Reuben. Reuben's oldest brother Aden. Reuben has 3 brothers and 6 Sisters. Most of his family is in construction. His dad actually built houses. Aden as built quite a few himself. I am proud of Mike and his Heritage.
Daddy took all 3 girls w/him on a 2 hour roadtrip to pick-up the second sets of cabinets in 1 day. They love going in the truck!!!
Gotta love my front yard dumpster.
White!
Mike positioning 2 cabinets to make a custom hutch!!! Yeah!
Mike found these random cabinets at the store. I figured these 3 to makeup my island?? The rounded end caught me off guard. It is a seperate piece but Mike spied it and thought of giving my cook books a home. He's so sweet.
Yep! She loves riding the scooter. Even through the maze of fragile cabinets. We were stacking, moving, configuring... At any moment they could be seriously injured. My cabinets that is. Only kidding;)
Abbey showing me her new vanity! Sort of plain for my taste. But ever ingenious Mike envisioned trim around the perimeter. I decided I could paint it pink? He bought these for the steal-of-the-deal but also because of the drawers.

This was my answered prayer. The hutch space was framed in to shallow. At only 12 inches instead of my desired 24. I wanted to use it as a buffet. Mike goes to the wearhouse and they have a limited selection of white. He found the bottom cabinet which normally runs at &-$200.00/1 piece for $100.00/2 pieces. Of course he grabbed them. (I'll use the other one in my closet or playroom-sweet!!!! & totally unexpected!) Then this top was sitting next to it. They did not come together but Mike decided to combine the 2 and build his own counter top in between. WHAT??? I am not joking when I say "ANSWERED PRAYER REQUEST". This was the only space in the house that I was completely stressed out about. Not now.
Right at home in the dirt.

So cute! She loves posing now. She'll yeah, "mom, mom," and when I turn around she is striking one.

Mike kitchen. The space is for my oven. I love my deep drawers. I'm excited for them. My island has drawers. They will be right behind me when I am cooking. Easy pot acess. No wasted island space!!! Especially in the kitchen, I've always had deep cupboards included w/ odd angles and hard to get to spaces!

My side entrance w/my newly installed pocket door. I plan to close it when we have company and slid open during the day when I am doing my usual rotation. Laundry, dishes, butt-wiping/teeth brushing. W/intermitten teaching/playing. I average 3 cycles a day. NO....Seriously!!!
What good is a post w/out dirt pile pics.
Abbey deciding order for pic & Em w/her backpack. Usual:) Cam just wanting to be included!
