FLEA MARKET, HERE WE COME! -7/28

Cam worn out after our Day!
MY LOOT! From the flea market! I had 1 of the most fun days here ever. I bought more stuff at the true value in town then headed off to our local flea market. It's a huge deal. People drive hours each way or so that's what 1 vendor told me. She said I was spoiled that I lived so close and never came. But today I did and LOVED IT!!. The tile is for our foryer. I got the chandelier and 12 new white linen shades for $15.00. Crazy those shades alone would have cost 5$ a piece at the store. I plan on spray painting the brass w/ deep hot pink for the play room. I got the urn for $5.00. He originally had a set but just sold the other 1 for 10. Steal. I love it. It is for my foyer as well. It is extremely heavy. The mirror for my foyer also was, don't be mad, $3.00. Whoo-HOo. I got the silver holder/vase for $4.00. Then for good measure on my way out of my favorite booth I asked "how much for this shelf"? Not intending to buy it. She said, "for you 3.00." WHAT?? I screamed, I can handle that. Sold. I will paint this a light butter yellow for Emme's wall to how's her Braley dolls. Sweet.
But the best deal of the afternoon by far was the silver candleabbra. Same vendor. GUess how much. I had a duplicate from Target a few years back that cost me 20 on sale. Are you ready, don't hate me. $4.00!!! It has crystals hanging from the arms as well!!!!

The girls made out. They had fruit from the farmers stand, cheesy popcorn for $1.00, we hit the claires booth for jewlery (seriously this lady has mounds of just overstocked jewelry...love that. And I know her she goes to our church.), and and last but not least SNOW CONES. W/3 different flavors of syrup. They were so happy. But I should have bought them at the end. They walked so slow trying to eat those things. And of course Cam had to walk, my stroller became my cart.

Also note the girls got a stack of old disney classic books 2/$1.00. I couldn't pass that up, you know my love for reading. (bypass the ocd in me). Do, De, Do. "I'm not listening". As well as the 4 brand new, lime green, Hello Kitty bowls for $1.00.

ALL IN ALL: A GREAT DAY!

P.S. I take note of things differently now that I have a blog. Yes I stood in my driveway for 10 minutes trying to set the stage for this photo:)
