Um-Hm.
Moving, people in 2 days. I painted all day and couldn't wait for a long hot shower. (Thank you Beth for taking my girls to the zoo:). I take supper to Mike and on the way home Abb starts complaining of a stomach ache. I am not surprised due to the fact that Cam threw up all day Friday and I got not one thing done. Except for mothering.
I had given her a bowl to throw up in on the way home. She seemed to be feeling better so I carried all the stuff in to the house for them. Well as you probably already guessed on the way up the stairs, inside our apartment, she puked. Yes, while walking up the stairs. I was still holding the bowl and tried to maneuver around her. I caught about half. I went to clean out the bowl and again no warning, a gurgling sound and chunks flying everywhere. It was definitley as gross as it sounds. No wait, smells.
Hang on I am going somewhere w/this.
Afterwards, I arrange all the girls w/all their supplies on the pull out couch when Abb begs me to lay w/her. I rented movies because all of our toys are packed. I decided to get one for myself as well. I drag my computer down to the other couch, after showering. I get myself & Cammie all situated, put on my headphones so as to not bother the older girls, settle in to post a quick blog (or is it blog a quick post?) before I start my movie. After all I have a lot to update you on.
When out of the corner of my eye, I catch movement and ...
someone is standing over me, no wait puking on me. AGAIN?!? Cam hit me smack on the side of the face on Friday, while I was talking on the phone. I had to wash my phone and remote control out not to mention my hair and ear.
I digress. "Em" I yell, puke in the bowl, IN the bowl. What is going on with all this, 'I'll just puke wherever I happen to be' stuff?
Now I am having a selfish thought, "at least it was NOT on my new house carpet that happened to be installed just 5 hours ago.
And as I turn to catch the last bit of Ems up-chuck.-----I am hit with flying vomit on the other side.
Ok it was a scene straight from "Stand By Me". I believe it was. Where 1 guy throws up and another guy is so sick he throws up on a third guy and so on. No seriously, I've never had simultaneously puking children. And, with only 1 bowl available to share.
So much for my restful night. I have now scrubbed the old carpet 4 times and washed 2 loads of towels.
My point?? Seriously?!?, the week I already have 1 million things to do??
(Posting will have to wait, movies, packing, bible study tomorrow..... Mothering's calling my name. Wouldn't trade my day, er, night/all the time job, for any other. And am thankful for all my sick cuties)
Ps:During the typing of this post, 2 more throw-ups. How do they do that?? I forced them to share the same bowl at the same time. Torture. Now they have separate towels.
PPS: Had I not been on blogger during this exact happening, I never would have told you all about it, and in such graphic details:)
PPPS: I have new readers and I am uncomfortable leaving this as my top post. Oh-well.
Needless to say, my life is not currently boring.

Well, I agree this is CRAZY, but I got a kick out of your telling of it. I can only imagine how puck in your ear and face REALLY affected you. This reaction really shows what a good mom you are.
One bowl???arrrgh. usually they don't know what to do with the bowl anyway.
There is something about the carpet..... or the walls....or the stairs....
Why are we not surprized????

When I was pregnant with Kaya we just had our carpets cleaned,(I mean literally that day)and Kiara woke up from her nap, came out and sat on my lap and yep, you guessed it, puked all over me,(thank god it wasn't on my face)and on my freshly cleaned carpet...What we don't do as mothers!!:) Loved seeing your beautiful home the other day and being able to sit and talk with you a little. I miss you! Seriously, if you need help with anything, let me know.:) Love ya...
