Starla ~38 Weeks Pregnant & Ready~

This is my friend Starla. Last Wednesday the 8th we went to see the Han*nah Mon*tana movie. She needed to get out of the house in order to take her mind off of her impending delivery. On Friday the 10th she reached 38 weeks of pregnancy. In her other 3 pregnancies they have scheduled her C-section at this point. But not this time, for some reason they made her do an Amnio and his lungs weren't quite ready. She has been tormented w/ feelings of fear and doubt about his safety. Though she is doing her best to Rest in God. This is always a difficult time for her in her pregnancies. You see, this isn't her 4th baby it is her 5th. Her first daughter was healthy and thriving through-out her pregnancy and for some reason at the very end around her 40th + week they believe the placenta pulled away from her.

Sierra Rose would have turned 9 last month.

I love my friend. We have bonded like we've known each other since childhood. Although I didn't actually meet her until 2005. We don't even attend the same church. Which at times makes it difficult to get together. The fun part is that our kids go to the same school. So we have already been homeroom mothers together.
They made her wait 1 whole week until doing another Amnio hoping his lungs would be developed. Starla at this point wouldn't even mind if he was in the I.C.U, as long they could provide treatment to him on the outside of her womb. I can tell this is her last baby. Her emotions have worn her out. Not to mention her 5 c-sections.
But my friends TODAY is the Day. Let's pray she goes in to the hospital and doesn't come out till she is holding Ty. (I Can't wait- not only am I happy for her but I do not have a newborn thus allowing me to enjoy hers w/out all the work:)

The other hard part about having another baby is the fact that you already have children at home. She has had to stress about them being ready to go at any moment plus having plans made for them that need to keep changing. She thought she was in labor. Which is not good. After our movie I took all the kids to her in-laws (her parents don't live in Ohio either-which makes these times stressful) and she headed for the Ob. Just to make sure baby boy was still alright in there.

Abbey and Cade are both 7. Emme and Kierra are both 5. Cammi and Kya are both 2. And NO i will not be having one to match TY:)
