Thank You!

Wowzers! First I have to publicly thank my very personal and private God. He is so good to me and I have to proclaim His praises! The fact that I have been allowed to live another year of life is just the icing on the cake! The cake itself consists of many ingredients this year. My marriage growing and changing for the better, my kids blossoming into little girls', what a joy to watch, my new house, what a blessing to me, new and plentiful relationships (seriously, so many) and finally the chance that God would graciously extend me the invitation to lead a Women's Ministry at my church, what a humbling experience and privilege. The fact that He allows me to walk w/Him however feeble some days, blows my mind. There is a longing in me to see Him face to face and to become more like Him which seemingly grows greater each passing year. I love Him and love to serve Him. Keep on'.
Thank you to my girls' for forgiving me and loving me even when I fall short as a mother. You mean the world to me. I am a better person for being your mom. Freeeeeeeedom!!!!!!
My little family blessed my socks off this year. (I can't quit crying as I type- I am blessed).

Friday~A package arrived from Karen, tore it open, I couldn't wait! I luuuuve everything, I snapped a pic for later.;) Mike took me to dinner at C*arraba's, and I had the cutest outfit on but had no camera. We picked up the kids and tucked them into bed. Then we sat on front porch, rocking and talking. Ok seriously we had a deep discussion but I beg God for more time and moments like that. I had a flash forward. Mike, me, 80, rocking, talking, rocking. . . Anyhoo. . I get carried away.

Saturday~Mike, the girls and I had a meeting at church a 9:00. So much for enjoying our midnight conversation:). 10 I had a hair appt. scheduled but I couldn't get in for a massage. It worked out better I was tired and that would have wore me out. 1:00 They picked me up and we drove to, guess where???? , PAn&era's. Mike, . . took me to Pan. as a surprise during the busiest time of day for them. Lunch. Thanks fam. 3:00 Mar&shall's. What?~? ok this is too much now. I bought, not 1, not 2 but 3 dresses. What a blast. Except for Cam's little mishap. OOps. Finally, 5:00 going home, I had no energy to go to the hospital for a baby visit. At home we were going to rest and then go to our little towns outdoor movie. Yes, I know so fun. Food and a big screen at night. We bring lawn chairs. But I couldn't move, I was exhausted. But surprise, 6:30 I had visitors, Kayla and Chrissy, bearing,, orange flowers and chocolate covered pretzels! Yum, a whole bag full:) Chris and Mike went out and came back w/dairy Q ice cream cake. Sweet, you mean , I don't have to bake my own? !? I also opened my gifts from my parents. LOVE IT ALL! At 9 I had to kick them out, sadly i was wiped out.


Sunday~4:00 am wake up and study. I was leading my whole church service, not preaching but still, I had devotions to give. AAGh, plus I enjoy the quiet house, smell of fresh brewed coffee and my alone time w/my Jesus! Knowing all my babies are asleep and peaceful and safe makes me feel settled inside. I sat on my front porch and watched the sun rise over the horizon. Crazy awesome! Then woke everyone up. The girls' were soooo bummed I didn't allow them to bring me breakfast in bed. (Good thing daddy's bday is on Thursday.) Eventually made it to church after I found my keys in the midst of the party mess!! MIKE was already there. Stress. Church was so fun, I loved it! Apparently over my head while I was speaking was a flashing message that read, "tell Desiree happy birthday". After church we stopped home to grab a present for the new baby and my friend Ang stopped in to talk and give me a card. Then we ran to the hospital. Got a call from Tom and family. Miss them. We then ate at my favorite Br*avo's. SO GOOD. I wanted to take a pic of my mocha but didn't have my camera. The cup was white and it sat on a saucer, it was topped w/whip cream, also there was a mini biscotti on the plate but the best part was the chocolate drizzled over the whole plate and cup w/cin. sprinkled. It looked almost to beautiful to drink. It was the best Italian I have every had because they made it hot and spicy for me. I was planning on eating Ice cream cake at home for dessert. But fell asleep. I was exhausted. And at 6 our aunt Pauline had a birthday dinner and bonfire for us! Crazy! She made me a chocolate, coffee flavored cake with chocolate frosting. When we got home the kids were going bananas wanting to give my gift. They gave me an under mount tv/dvd player for my kitchen.

Monday~ Received a whole bunch of birthday calls and requests for friend dates. Thank you friends who read this:) I read Kattie's blog. What can I say?,cried again, Thanks girly. Love ya! (Still get to open my gift from their family). At night the doorbell rang and I received a beautifully wrapped gift from Julia. Starbucks coffee and biscotti. What! (Already had 2 1/2 pots today:)
