Oldie but a GOODIE!

These photos are older. August 2009. I really wanted to document the girls last school year though.
We spent almost everyday swimming. This is our allotments pool. I love it most of the neighbors sleep in. So if we arrive early we have the pool to our selves, save 1 retired man who swims laps.
The girls took private swim lessons the whole month of July at my friends house. It was a blast. She had an instructor come out and she invited to other moms besides myself. We each brought snacks. Here is Abbey showing me her new skills.
We would pack lunches and match every time. I love matching my girls too, or at least coordinate.
At this point I still felt like a newbie to the hood. We had lived here a year so far. A friend of mine has a daughter at the same school as my girls. This year she was going into 4th grade. Ab was 2nd, Em was starting Kindergarten. It's so fun because my friend Dorothy rents our club house and throws a back to school party for those at our school. Most of the other kids in our allotment go the public school. So I have mostly gotten to know the moms with kids in class with mine. Anyhow, because of these back-to-school all day swim parties I have met a ton of other moms. I love it because they all have older kids and have been at the school longer. It has expanded my own world. Plus the girls met more school kids. I not only love our school but our neighbors. I know God hand picked our lot for us. He is so good to us!
