So exhausted, from spending 1hour at
Homedepot and trying to entertain my kids. Finally we ended up in the furniture section sitting on this outdoor couch. I wanted to take it home w/me. The girls ripped orange balloons off of the display and played volleyball to their hearts content. Whatever.

We had
recieved an
evelope addressed to Mike from his
buisness partner. They had it their house at least 2 weeks and assumed it was a birthday card for Mike. But from a homeowner??? Turns out this couple who Mike did work for sent us a thank you card. What?? That never happens in his business. The CFO of a local company and his wife had remodeled their whole kitchen and Mike had done it all. She wrote specifically to me and said she appreciated all the nights I had endured alone w/ my kids.
WHat??? She understood. SO TRUE!! A mother/wife understands another sacrificing mother/wife. A man just wouldn't
understans. So in honor of all my dinners alone she gave me a $50.00 gift card to the restaurant down under. Outback!!!!
WHat???, again. We don't normally frequent there because we have our kid-friendly rotations. But on a day when I was simply drained after a weekend of painting, a well cooked, (not by me may I add), FREE meal was just what I needed. This is the only picture I had of us eating after shopping. We spent another 1-1/2 at the flooring store.

I don't know who was most annoyed. ME for patiently waiting and entertaining 3 rambunctious girls in a Home restoration store or Mike for being asked to take this photo in the midst of the
Sunday afternoon crowd.
