I am trying to finish something, ANYTHING!!

When you have girls there is bound to be at least 1 "scary movie" scream a day.
Maybe not when:
They come in ones
Maybe not even when they come in twos
but DEFINITELY when:
They've come in THREES!!!!

Many people say "Oh, I've learned to ignore my own kids screams"
or "Let them work out there own disagreements some times"
(Super blase albeit well meaning)

But

REALLY are you that desperate to be heard??? I guess, sometimes we are!
(Insert, the many times I/Mike can simply no longer take it and must break up the fight or stop the playing and send them to seperate spaces so I/he can lower the volume)

WARNING: "Allthingsnew may not be held liable for negligence on your part in accordance with your ability or lack thereof to hasten in action on behalf of your own females of the young version due to the reading of this post".

And really.... after birthing and nurturing your third, most in tune, caring parents are able to discern life and death cries from the less immediate requests in the form of a blood-curdling scream.
I should know!

I learned my lesson on which cries to ignore the hard way. The night my first born ran whimpering to me about her arm/elbow being in pain, I chalked it up to no nap. Little did I know she was nursing a broken arm in 2 places and a dislocated elbow. She was 3. Yeah, that's right!! No one was harder on me than myself.

So if you pass me in the grocery store and feel quick to pass judgment on my shrieking child, hold your tongue my friend.

(In the background, above the clicking sounds of my computer, another one)

I think I'll go and..... finish curling my hair.
