I spent all morning volunteering in Emme's Field Day. I was in charge of relays w/my friend Nicole. I had a blast. I made all the little ones dizzy, sick, and super hyper. Loved it. I get to know the kids from the other classes this way. It was super hot which is good, considering during Ab's Kindergarten field day it poured rain. Needless to say I was wiped out when it came time for Abby's Field Day in the afternoon. Plus, her class was over committed with parent helpers. So Cam and I showed up in time to watch Ab playing kick-ball. We drank bottled waters and sat with my friend Jill and her new baby boy, Logan. Her daughter is in the last post.
Abbey takes sports very seriously. For those of you who don't know her. She does not play on any official little league team but in school she can hang with the boys. In fact she is friends with most of the boys and competes with them on everything from Math to Gym class races. It was so stinkin' hot. I felt bad. I gave her french braids, hoping to alleviate massive sweating. Being the first born that she is, not only does she like to win, she learns all of the rules of the game before she plays.
Her turn!!
That's the way we roll. Not. The girls kept trying to drive with the seat laid all the way back. On our way home from church that weekend. Their usual faces.
